All of X's new weapons are listed below, along with strategies on how to use them effectively. Enjoy!

 |
C-shot |
-Received From: Grizzly Slash
This weapon shoots randomly in 3 directions; diagonally upwards, straight foward, and diagonally downwards. Effective against weaker enemies, the charged version will surround X in a protective shield that destroys enemies on contact. This shield doesn't drain the weapon's energy. |
 |
Gel-Shaver |
-Received From: Duff McWhalen
The Gel Shaver is a small chunk of ice that runs along the ground when fired, good for reaching those hard-to-hit areas and even better against ground enemies in range. If fired against a wall, the Gel Shaver will run alongside it and hit enemies along the wall as well. The charged shot creates 4 large ice-blocks on both sides of x and shoots them outwards in a wavy pattern that crushes nearby enemies. |
 |
Tri-Thunder |
-Received From: Squid Adler
Tri-Thunder fires 1 bolt of lightning up, 1 bolt straight ahead, and one straight below. Upon hitting a wall or the ground, the bolt of lightning will turn into a lightning ball and charge foward along the surface. Effective against ceiling/wall enemies or indirectly hitting your enemy. The charged version creates large bolts of lightning that strike randomly across the screen in a vertical manner. While using this, X cannot move, so be weary of nearby enemies not hit. |
 |
F-Laser |
-Received From: Izzy Glow
The F-Laser is a homing laser you can control to home-in on enemies from behind or from any position. While you control the laser X cannot move, so watch out for enemies creeping up. Good for hitting just the right spot *armor hint*. Charging this laser makes X shoot out a giant beam of energy directly ahead, use it to blast away enemies ahead. |
 |
Dark Hold |
-Received From: Dark Dizzy
Dark Hold freezes the entire battlefield, including enemies and other objects. Very handy in a tough situation where you need to take them out bit by bit. While activated, Dark Hold drains the weapon gauge slowly, so keep an eye on it every now and then. This weapon does not work on bosses however, except for... |
 |
Wing Spiral |
-Received From: The Skiver
The Wing Spiral fires a small tornado-like projectile at a vertical angle. By pressing left or right when firing, the projectile and be swayed left or right towards the enemy. Good for hitting air units, the Wing Spiral is not nearly as good against ground units. Trying to hit ground units would require X to be very close to it, and chances are the enemy would strike before X would get a chance. Charging this weapon releases a large tornado in front of X that causes massive damage. |
 |
Ground Fire |
-Received From: Mattrex
This weapon shoots out a small churning ball of fire a short distance ahead. The ball them flakes off as it rolls, the "fire flakes" then fly at different directions to damage nearby enemy units. The fire flakes off a certain number of times, then disappates. Charging the Ground Fire creates 2 large blasts of fire at both sides of X that burns enemies standing in it's path. |
 |
Spike Ball |
-Received From: Axle The Red
The Spike Ball fires a short range ball of spikes/thorns that hovers in the air. It stays in that position for a few moments before disappearing. Chargint it shoots out a purple ball that bounces around the area, inflicting damage on enemies that come into contact with it. |
