As the game progresses, you'll be able to find more and more armors to use. Different armors have different abilities, some are very strong in battle, others are very good in specific situations. To find out which ones are best suited for your style of combat, look below to find all the armors in the game.

This is the default armor, which is received at the very beginning of the game. It's just your basic armor, which can shoot charged shots, dash, and shoot weapons. It has 4 slots for power-ups. No Giga Attack though. |

-Weaker than all other armors |

This is one of the only armors Zero has in the game, because unlike X, he cannot earn armor. This armor can air-dash and has 4 power-up slots. Other than that, the other abilities of this armor are developed after learning more skills (Example: Learning the C-blade will allow you to double-jump) |

The Fourth Armor can only be obtained by starting the game with X. It is the only armor that can charge weapons, and can shoot out a very large plasma blast, which leaves behind an aftershock good for killing off any remaining enemies. It can also hover in the air for a short period of time. Although it has no Giga Attack, it proves to be a formidabble armor to use. |

The Falcon Armor can only be used when all 4 parts are uploaded into your main computor. This armor is built for mobility, so it's specialty is on speed. It can fly for short periods of time, during which X is almost invincible. It also fires a thin destructive laser that can pass through walls and most barriers. It's Giga Attack blasts out many lasers throughout the whole screen.

Like the Falcon Armor, the Gaea Armor can only be used by collecting all 4 parts. It's specialty is in defense, and it is resistant to spikes. It can cling to walls, but moves fairly slow. Its projectiles dissolve after a certain distance. However, it's charged shots require almost no time to charge. It cannot fire any weapons, and has no power-up slots. It's Giga Attack is effective against close range enemies.
